Obituary of Albert Halliday

Albert Halliday passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at his residence in Prince Albert, SK. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters: Myrna Halliday and Lorrie (Darcy) Kaglea; his adopted son, Mike (Kathy) Logan; his grandchildren: Tony, Lonny, Lindsay (Dale), Jennifer (Kyle), Kristen (Jeff), Kris (Jenna), Robyn, Alycia (Brady); his fifteen great- grandchildren; his brother-in-law: Art (Linda) Yockey; his sister-in-law: Helen (Joe) Kuhn; and his in-laws: Doreen Yockey and Doug Hendrickson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Albert was predeceased by his wife: Lillian; his son, Louis Halliday; his daughter, Karen Halliday; his great-granddaughter, Emily Glabus; his parents: Alexander and Alice Halliday; his siblings, Baby William Halliday, Harold Halliday, Cecelia & Gus Johnson, Mable & Conrad Hammer, Betty & Tom Howrie, George Halliday, Leslie Halliday, and Ruth & Alf Williams; his in-laws: Louis & Evelyn Yockey (nee Bruce); his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Edward (Myrtle) Yockey, Orville (Marie) Yockey, Mervin (Clara) Yockey, and Raymond Yockey; Marion (Martin) Nyberg and Lula Hendrickson. A Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in Albert’s honor may be directed to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #2, 133 8th Street E, Prince Albert, SK, S6V OV8.
