To all of the Garand family my deepest sympathies. I so fondly remember going as a child growing up in Prince Albert over to Paul and Olive's many, many times for years with my mom Carol Fitzpatrick and my uncle Barry Blanchard. I was so happy to go see them. Paul was so nice, kind and funny and you could see the love between him and sweet Olive. I always enjoyed going over to their place and running into them in town out and about. My mom and uncle and Paul had such a great relationship and laughed and talked business and about events. Once they got started talking it was hard to get them to stop. Mom and I would be driving by their house and mom would say "let's just stop and see Paul and Olive quickly". It was never quick. They were too close of friends to have a quick visit. I was blessed to know them and know they are in heaven together.

Dear Uncle Paul
We are left with cousins and children and 2 aunties in this year of 2020. We know you are safe in heaven with the Garand Family. We are blood brothers and carry a coat of arms. Uncle Paul if not for the Garand family , there would be no world. Uncle Paul loved the arts and nature along with so many other things. We miss you . All of our love to the Garand Family .

To all of the Garand's - it was with great sadness that we read about the passing of your father. We enjoyed his love of life the few times we saw him and it is visible that they raised a great family, we are sure he will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences to Paul's family. Paul was my mentor for how to do horse trading deals in real estate. Also, he taught me how to finance and flip real estate. He was my best teacher I ever had. We spent many, many hours together over a cup of coffee. I have so many fond memories of spending time with both Paul and Olive, a lovely couple. Paul RIP!

Paul was such a kind, gentle, caring person. He had a special way about him! I will truly miss our phone calls talking about all sports, Raiders and PA news. I have so many fond memories of spending time with Paul and Olive, a lovely couple. Paul will be missed by everyone that knew him, but he had a good life. My sympathy to Paul's family.

So sorry To hear about your dad. I did housecleaning for your mom and dad when they lived in Rosthern. They were the sweetest couple ever. You could not leave their house without a cup of coffee or tea. I have such good memories of the time I knew them

Paul was always one of the best fellows to share a coffee and conversation with. He could share a good opinion on the topic of the day and or a humorous quip that would make you laugh out loud. Those who know what THE table is also know that Paul always had a place at it. He had a special way about him and I see that way carried on by his sons. A life worth remembering. Our sympathy to the Garand family.

Uncle was a very kind and giving person. Some of my best memories were being able to stay at the Garand Family cabin at Emma lake where I always felt welcome.

Condolences to you and Robert and Allan & your families. I have fond memories of both your mom and dad from when I was a kid. Your Dad actually drove my Mom and me from Prince Albert to Calgary back on 1964 or 1965.Prior to that I used to babysit you boys on occasion. Your mom and dad were very good to us and it is sad to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace. Linda Schuler ,(Lehner)
