Sorry to hear of Norma's passing. She will be missed for her up beat personality and always so positive about everything. She will be an angel in heaven and will touch us all when we need her. She was a lady that could get things done. I can hear her saying. Well! Come on let's get at it or it won't get done!!! I know she did lists of work for the museum in Rabbit Lake. We had lots of laughs at the semi annual N W Museum meetings.
Sorry we didn't know Norma was ill or we would have touch her before her passing.
Marilyn and Tom Hougham.

When I was doing Rat Control I would stop at the farm every year and many times be invited to coffee and have wonderful visits with Norma. Incredible lady. My husband and I would entertain at the Rabbit Lake hall and Norma and Gordon would always be there helping out. I was blessed to be around them and will always have fond memories. God Bless you Gordon and family.

Our deepest sympathy to you, Gordon, and your children. Also to Lyle, Mary Lou and families. Memories of Norma go back to our days at the one room school in Hillmond and then onto the centralized school. She was one of the “big girls” - always fun, caring, and a character. Norma always got the copper boiler going on top of the wood stove to heat our noon meals that were transported from home in jars. The odd one would break so then we had to share our lunches. Mom and Dad (Harold and Lily) always enjoyed your visits, Gordon. Our connection goes back to the Noble farm where Norma lived as a child. We enjoyed our time spent with you and Norma in subsequent years. Take care.

Norma was a dear friend for 70 years. We spent time together when we were each spending holidays in Lloydminster at our grandmas who were also great friends. We had many good times together doing what country kids do when they get to stay in town. Time went on and I ended up living not far from her home farm in Hillmond area. By then she was married and moved to Rabbitt Lake but we still kept in touch like you do with a dear friend. It was always so thrilling to hear her voice or see her and Gordon at Hillmond events. There is nothing Norma could not do and keeping in touch with everyone was very important to her. She enjoyed the family histories and who lived where. Things will be different without Norma on earth but we know where she is and the other angels will welcome her with open arms. When you have done your job on earth you go to heaven and Norma has certainly done hers. Memories of a very special lady will keep the rest of us going.
