I remember Doug as a warm, caring friend. He had trouble saying, "No" to Ken, Cindy, and Pat, but man, did we have some laughs. We did stupid things like walking to the coffee shop in -40 weather with no toques or gloves, and then laughing at how cold we were. We watched "Phantom of the Paradise" - a very bad movie - and had a love/hate relationship with the movie and music. He was the best person. I am sorry we lost touch.
