Marie was the first friend I made when I started my employment at the Victoria Hospital. I quickly learnt that she was a strong, knowledgeable woman in her field of Occupational Therapy. Marie changed the lives of many as a result of her expertise and skill sets. She gave all she had to her work and yet had time to dedicate many hours to the Girl Guide organization. My daughter will fondly remember her has Grey Owl. Marie will be missed by her friends and family. Marie was one of the good ones and made a difference, she will missed.

Dear Ruth, Glen and families: My heart is saddened to learn of Marie's passing. I send my deepest sympathy and caring thoughts to all of you. In February I phoned Marie for her birthday and we had a lovely chat as usual. Our history is in the occupational therapy world. We graduated together from the University of Manitoba in 1977 and have connected periodically throughout the years. In August 2017, Marie joined our rendezvous in Regina to mark our 40th anniversary. It was so good to be with her again and share memories and laughter. I have fond memories of visiting with Marie and your mother at her home in Deloraine in earlier years. Now I will let my mind go with her to Deloraine and may there always be peace. Take gentle care. Sincerely, Maureen Blight 306-548-2266

Words truly can not express the loss she has created. She guided so many through Girl Guides, not only the children but the mothers, fathers, and other leaders. Many thanks to her for getting me through one of the toughest parts of my life.
