Thank you Laurie for your kind words. Eunice spoke fondly of those she shared time with at the lodge. She was an outgoing person who easily made friends and we appreciate your remembrance of her. We hope you also are enjoying a long life!

We appreciate your message of remembrance of Bill and Eunice. They were both very good at making people feel welcome and cared for. Gord, you were always on their favorite list! We miss them both but are thankful for the outpouring of support we have received, and hopeful that they are holding hands now, looking down on us.

Thank you Elaine for your kind words. Eunice always enjoyed hearing from friends and would tell us all about who called and what was going on with them. She dearly loved people and it showed. She would excuse her many questions by saying “I’m not nosey.....just interested!” We are so fortunate to have all these wonderful memories.

I've Had the good fortune to spend time with Eunice & Bill around the kitchen table enjoying tea & goodies after the repair of some piece of equipment. I think the world would be so much better if we had more people like Eunice & Bill, hard working, honest, straight forward & kind! Eunice was without a doubt one of the best people I have ever known! Our condolences to Jim, Warren & families. Rest in peace Eunice, your earthly toil is done!

I am saddened to read of Eunice’s passing. Eunice and I stayed at the Cancer Lodge together in 2006. We had many wonderful visits and despite her treatment and age we did walk across the University Bridge and back together a couple times. Will always remember that and her kindness. I haven’t talked to her several years now but am happy to read she went on to live a long happy life. My condolences to her loved ones.

My deepest sympathies to all the Adamson family. Eunice was one of the first Shellbrook people I met in 1971. She was a great friend to my mother in law Rick van Melle. Eunice and I stayed friends and always had a good chat. Our most recent conversation was in December and I am so glad that I took the time to make that call. Sometimes visits and phone calls are too easy to put off to another time.
Warm hugs to all of you
