Obituary of Erna Jaster

JASTER - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Erna Jaster on April 05, 2009 at the age of 97 years at the Idylwild Lodge in Spiritwood, SK. Erna was raised in Lang, SK. She married Louis Jaster and they farmed south of Mildred. In 1976 she moved into Spiritwood to her house on Main Street. She was an avid gardener, cook and baker. Erna loved poetry, art, music, animals and hard work. Erna will be lovingly remembered by: her daughter Elsie Jaster, her son Herbert Jaster, her granddaughter Grace (Ken) Small and their children, Garrett (Kristi) Small, Dustin Small (Shana Jacobs), her grandson Curt Dagenais, a sister Edith & a brother Fred, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Jaster, her parents William & Augusta Grams, her sisters Alivine, Elsie, Verna & Hertha, her brothers August & Leon. The Funeral Service was held Saturday, April 11th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Spiritwood Health Complex, Spiritwood, Saskatchewan with Reverend Leigh Sinclair officiating. The Organist was Carolyn Voss and the Eulogy was read by Reverend Leigh Sinclair. Honorary Pallbearers were "All relatives and friends who shared in Erna's life" The Urn Bearer was her son Herb Jaster.
