Allan & Family, I was saddened to learn of Doreen's passing. When I think of the two of you I remember the fall of 1968 (a miserable fall) when I lived at their farm & took off the canola crop & dried it in Allan's home made grain dryer. Doreen always treated me like a family member (even trying to get me to change one of the boy's pants!) those are good memories & I hope they help you all through these tough times.
Al, we were so saddened to hear about Doreen's passing!! Seems like only yesterday, we were able to enjoy a visit and a laugh with you and Doreen. I know that she will be SO MISSED ! We can still hear her "infectious laugh" ! The world was such a better place because of people like Doreen! Our thoughts and prayers to you and your family!
Our condolences and prayers are sent to the whole Short family. It will not be the same and we will miss all her loving and welcoming joy at family gatherings. Memories and love will always be with each and everyone who new and loved Relda AKA Doreen.
Mr. Short - my sympathies on the passing of Doreen. You both were a wonderful inspiration and guide in my youthful years and it was a delight to catch up with you at the Class Reunion and to again hear Doreen's infectious laugh. My condolences to you and your family.
