Obituary of Colleen Thrasher
Colleen Dawn Thrasher 1948 – 2021
Colleen is survived by her sister and devoted caretaker, Connie as well as many cousins and relatives that helped her celebrate milestone birthdays. She was predeceased by her grandparents, early pioneers Ern and Mary Anne Thrasher and Edward and Sadie McDonald; and her parents Osborne and Dorothy Thrasher.
Colleen spent nearly 50 years as a florist working in Saskatoon, Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary and finally La Ronge. Many thanks to Kevin and Cora Leung for house sitting and pet care during the years of medical appointments out of town. Colleen’s ashes will be interred at the Holt Cemetery near the farm along with her parents.
