Obituary of Allan Ray LaCharity

The family of Allan Ray LaCharity sadly announce his passing on March 7, 2021 in Shellbrook, SK. Allan grew up in Hudson Bay, SK, with his parents, Ray and Caroline, his brother, Ralph and his sister, Gloria. Allan quit school at age 15 to work on the railroad and later continued his education to become a Journeyman Welder, as well as teach the welding program in Prince Albert. He purchased a mobile welding rig and worked in oil and gas maintenance and construction for many years. Allan enjoyed the outdoors and spent much of his time hunting, fishing and camping. He loved going for drives to check out yard sales as well as going for coffee with his friends, with his faithful dog Rocky, always by his side. Al was a kind and outgoing person who went out of his way to help his friends and neighbors fix anything and did the snowblowing for many of his neighbors during the winter months. He had an artistic side and enjoyed making ornamental steel trinkets. He will be dearly missed by his family, his friends and anyone he met. Allan is lovingly remembered by his wife, Sandra; his son, Dean and grandchildren, Brandon, Ashton and Kimberly; his daughter, Tanis (Joel) and grandchildren, Sierra, Kianna and Caeden, and great-grandchildren, Cassie, Levi and Cade; his son Scott (Casey) and grandchildren Elias, Asa and Leo; his daughter, Nicole (Brady) and grandchild, Weylin; his son, Tyson and grandchildren, Ashley, Raydin and Sage; his son Jesse (Randi) and grandchildren, Carson, Colt and Dallas; his step daughter, Carmella (Chad) and granddaughter Michela; his step daughter Nicole (Guy) and grandson Odin; his brother, Ralph (Cathy); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
