Obituary of Ruth Albright

MRS. RUTH ALBRIGHT 1922 - 2009 It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ruth Albright on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at the age of 87 years. Ruth was a resident of the Big River Nursing Home. We will remember Ruth by her quick smile and sense of humor. Ruth served in the RCAF where she became a chef during the war. This is where she met and married the love of her life, Bill on November 24, 1945. They spent one year working together in the RCAF, when Ruth decided to leave the military. They both enjoyed traveling all over for many years with the military until Bill retired. The family would like to thank the staff of the Big River Nursing Care Home for the excellent care they gave Ruth while she was there. They would also like to thank Rev. Norbert Haukenfrers and the members of the Anglican Church, as well as all of the family and friends who sent condolences, and a special thanks to Beau"Lac" Funeral Home. Ruth leaves to mourn her brothers and sisters Flora (Allan) Berg, Harold (Jean) Gear, Richard (Janice) Gear, Garry (Esther) Gear, and Ruby Pederson. Her two sisters-in-law Gertrude Gear and Gail Gear. Her brother in-law Walter Reichley as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth was predeceased by her dear husband, Mr. Bill Albright, her parents Bill and Alga Gear, her brothers and sisters Lester Gear, Helen (Ralph) Manning, Leonne Reichley, Roy Gear, and her brother in-law Lloyd Pedersen.
