Obituary of Clarence Funk

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Clarence Leonard Funk. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 18th , 2009. Clarence was born on June 26, 1957 at Herbert, Sask. In May of 1961 the family moved to Glaslyn. Clarence was the oldest child in a family of 15. He attended all his school years at Glaslyn. He also went to bible school at Eston Bible College and Three Hills Prairie Bible Institute in Alberta. He worked on his parents farm until his marriage to Carol Sawatzky on July 21, 1984. They moved to their own farm and raised cattle. They were blessed with five sons. Clarence was a quiet person who loved his wife and sons dearly. He treated everyone with gentleness and kindness. Clarence lived a life pleasing to his Savior. He has always stayed close to God and God has never left his side. The funeral service was held Friday May 22nd, 2009 at 2 pm at the Glaslyn Community Hall.
