James “Jimmy” Villeneuve
It is with heavy hearts the family of “Jimmy Vee" announce his sudden passing on July 17, 2021, at the age of 81, surrounded by his children. James is survived by the mother of his children Christina Hotvedt; his children: Izzie (Tim) Bettger, Shannon (Dan) DeMarchi, Kimberly Fiddler, Cheryl (Todd) Yeomans, Roxane (Dallas) Miers and Gilles (Carissa) Villeneuve; his grandchildren: Jake, Tina, Steven, Randy, Christina, Audrey, Ashley, Brandon, Erin, Lesli, Maddy, Landyn and Pria; his great-grandchildren: Keegan, Maple, Marlowe, Ava, Taya, Paisley, Tanner, Haily, Ben-Scott, Brielle and Asher; his siblings: Lucien (Mildred) Villeneuve, Jerry (Rita) Villeneuve, Maurice (Carol) Villeneuve, Margaret Ferchuk, Carol (Dave) Archibald; his sisters-in-law: Colleen Villeneuve, Joyce Villeneuve and Carrie Irving; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. James was predeceased by his wife, Rosella Cunningham; his grandson, Scott Yeomans, his great-grandson, Keanu Yeomans; his parents, Marguerite and Azaire Villeneuve; his brothers, Alex, Leslie, Jay, Gregory (in infancy) Villeneuve; and his sister, Shirley Piche.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2021 at St. Michael Parish, 1505 13th Street West, Prince Albert. In lieu of other tributes, donations in memory of James may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 2 - 630 45 Street W, Saskatoon, SK S7L 5W9.
