Obituary of Mary Anne McClelland

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mary Anne McClelland. 

Mary was born on December 11, 1950 and passed away on August 2, 2021.  May and Dave are long-time residents of Ramsey Bay on Weyakwin Lake.  Mary married the love of her life, Dave McClelland on June 20, 1986.  Dave says she was a lifesaver – twice literally.  Dave and Mary spent many years at Piprell Lake before settling in Ramsey Bay.  Mary met Dave at the Army & Navy Club in Saskatoon, and both loved to dance.  One of Mary’s favorite pastimes was picking blueberries and cranberries, and she was very generous with them as well.  Mary’s list of dogs goes on and on, and her latest love was Maggie.  She even carted around a bag of dog food in her car for the strays!

Left to mourn her passing are her loving husband, David; her children, Kim and Cory; her 3 grandchildren; her sisters, Janie, Linda and Dawn Marie; as well as many many good friends.  At Mary’s request there will be no formal funeral service.  A Private Celebration of Life will be held.   In lieu of other tributes, donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Prince Albert SPCA, 1125 North Industrial Drive, Prince Albert, SK, S6V 5T1.
