Ethan Cartier

Obituary of Ethan Tanner Cartier

Ethan Tanner Cartier (E) (Cartier) was born September 18, 2001 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He passed away September 7, 2021 in White Star, Saskatchewan.

Ethan was raised by his Mother Gail MacPherson (Cartier) and Gord MacPherson. Ethan was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and attended Spruce Home Elementary, then moved on to Carlton Comprehensive High School where he graduated in 2019.

His love for working out, baseball, and football helped him to achieve infield homeruns playing with the Royals to his most prized championship win under the lights with the Carlton Crusaders. His football family was very important to Ethan where he developed life skills and social relationships that molded him into the man he became. His love lives on through his legacy and incredible dedication to the team and his brothers on the team.

Ethan’s work ethic and passion for being meticulous in everything he attempted came from a solid foundation laid out to him by his late grandfather Bill Cartier. Ethan’s humour and kindness can be attributed to his wonderful upbringing by surrounding himself with family and friends.

His kind nature and all-around helpfulness was shown daily by always being there to lend a hand, whether it was helping his dad chop wood, raise animals or jump in the tractor at a moment’s notice and spending time with his mom helping around the farm, or just being there for anyone that would ask.

His love for the outdoors whether it was camping, traveling to family houses to visit, or spending time with his sister and brothers outside, was always a love for him.

Ethan always had a passion for music that was just another gift included in his wide range of love he gave to everyone. From country to rap to classical, Ethan’s taste was never singled to one genre. You could always count on hearing him singing in the shower or dancing with his football buddies at parties.

Ethan will be honoured and never forgotten. Ethan is remembered by his:
