Obituary of Funeral Notice for the late Jean Leon Joseph Duret
DURET: Jean Leon Duret passed away at the age of 73 years in the Shellbrook Hospital on July 30, 2009. Jean was born to Willie and Amanda Duret in Ormeaux on the family farm on October 5, 1935, in 1961 he married Claudette Couture and started their family of four. After 44 years of farming they moved to the town of Debden were they have lived for the past four years. The prayer service was held on Sunday, August 2, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. from the St. Jean Baptiste R.C. Church in Debden, SK. The Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, August 3rd, 2009 at 10:30 am from the St. Jean Baptiste R. C. Church in Debden, SK with Rev. Fr. Bernabe Millan Sajonas as the Celebrant, the organist was Monica Svendsen, the special music was directed by Louise Marchildon, Gilles Francoeur, Erik Paquette. The cross bearer was Derek Duret , and the flower bearer was Ashley Duret, the communion server was Raymond Duret, altar Servers were Janelle and Raymond Cyr. The offerings were taken by Doris Duret, Christopher Duret, Matthew Duret, Danielle Slater and Jamie Duret. Honorary Pallbearers were all relatives and friends who shared in Jean's life, The Pallbearers were Roger Duret, Gerald Duret, David Krushelniski, Norman Duret, Paul Duret and Mark Couture. Jean will be laid to rest in the Debden Cemetery. Jean will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife of 47 years, Claudette Duret of Debden, SK, his children Doris Duret (Al Slater) of Grande Prairie, AB, Lucien (Jeanne) Duret of Spruce Home, SK, Robert Duret of Saskatoon, SK, Martin (Lana) Duret of Lloydminster, AB, his grandchildren Ashley, Derek, Christopher, Matthew, Jamie, Joshua, Harley and Danielle. His brothers and sisters Marie Anna Prefontaine of Prince Albert, SK, Pauline Duret of Prince Albert, SK, Philippe Duret of Victoire, SK, Eugenie Duret (Gilles) Lajeunesse of Innisfail, AB, Diane Duret of Victoire, SK, Raymond (Michelle) Duret of Victoire, SK, Monique (Mike) Krushelniski of Chitek Lake, SK, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents Willie and Amanda Duret and his brothers Andre, Laurent, Guy and Roger. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301-2550-12th Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan S4P 3X1. Beau"Lac" Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
