BIRKETT – Elsie Jean
Mrs. Elsie “Jean” Birkett passed away peacefully on November 29th, 2021. A private family service will be held on December 11, 2021. A Celebration of Life to be announced for July 2022 at the Birkett Farm.
Mom, Grandma Jean is survived by her son, Wayne Birkett (Muriel); her Grandchildren Clay Birkett (Sonia), Melissa Adams (Jeff) and her Great Grandchildren Jack, Alison, Wylie, and Thomas Birkett; Job and Mac Adams; Emma and Abby Forrester; Cousin Bonnie Lamb, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Birkett, her parents Zora and Thomas Pollard, Belle and Charles Birkett, her siblings; Ruth (Luke), Blanche (Albert), Lavona, Edna (Bruce), Evelyn (Marvin), Thelma, Nora (Gus), Russell (Mary), Claire (Jim), and Fern (Clare); Sisters in law, Mae, Lucy (Lloyd) Brother in-laws Trouper Thomas Birkett, and Bob (Alma).
The late Mrs. Birkett was born on July 26, 1928, in Blaine Lake, Saskatchewan. She married her husband Joseph on November 24, 1947, and moved from her home at Windsor Lake to farm with Joe at Tallman, Saskatchewan. They moved to Blaine Lake, Saskatchewan in retirement in 1980. She left us on November 29, 2021, at the Care Home in Hafford, Saskatchewan.
