Heather Watson posted a condolence
Saturday, February 19, 2022
To the Doucette Family: My name is Heather Watson. I was (still am) a very dear friend of Ron's. I was with him just before he passed. I am now in the United States for an extended holiday. I am saddened deeply by his passing. Ron meant a lot to me. We were friends together for close to 10 years. In that time we spent a lot of really great times together doing everything from BbQs to sunning, yes sunning to road trips, to baking ham in Coka Cola, to New Year's Eve's to reading together and moving together. He had a profound influence on my life. I was really not good about 3 1/2 years ago. In fact if it wasn't for Ron's love, hope and constant help I may not be here at all. He helped to bring me out of my desperation. He spent not hours with me but weeks going over the steps, reading together, telling me what God's will was and telling me to be quiet about my nonsense!!! In these last few years we shopped together and ate and hung out. He was my big teddy bear and he is in my heart. He was lonely and I told him I would never leave him. And I never did. I am eternally grateful for his love and guidance and his direction.ay he rest in peace, he was such a good person and I miss him every day. Thank you, Heather Watson

Eva and I are so sorry and saddened to hear of Ron's passing. As children we got together in PA for activities together. We want to thank your family for Ron's 8 years of full time service in the Canadian Army. We know that after his service he dealt with many challenges in Civilian Life and many of those challenges were likely caused by his lengthy service in tough areas of the world when he was doing his duty for us as a soldier. Also we keep him in our prayers and your own family in our prayers as you deal with your loss. Our sincere condolences for your whole family. David & Eva Harder in Saskatoon.

Donna and I were saddened by the news of Ron Passing. Many great memories.
We were just reminiscing a few days ago and talking of the day when Ron and Brad went out the bathroom window onto the
porch roof and were playing with a chemistry set and making a mess.
Condolences to Russell, Kevin, Danny and Nichole.
