I recently heard about the passing of Mr. Berg. I want to express my deepest sympathy to Mrs. Berg, Kevin, Kim, and their families.
When I grew up in the 70’s, our family attended the Belbutte Church. I was friends with Kevin and Kim and I spent many hours at their place. I would have to think that they got tired of me coming around, but they were always so nice to me. I am thankful for the friendships and the memories. I am also thankful for Mr and Mrs Berg’s prayers and that they did not give up on me. It was at the back of the Belbute Church (that Mr. Berg pastored for years) that I silently bowed my head and asked Jesus to forgive my sins, and I gave God control of my life.
Mr. Berg always had a friendly greeting when ever we talked. He was a man of integrity. As he grew older, he did not retire from serving God. In recent years I heard him speaking with such conviction of our need to have a personal relationship with Jesus.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
Mr Berg’s life is another example to me on how to finish the race. Elmer Isaac

Our deepest sympathies to Dora and family. My grandparents (Arnold & Freida Renz) were good friends with Floyd and Dora. As kids we enjoyed Timberline camp, and as an adult visits with them when we bumped into each other in North Battleford. Hugs to all of you
