My beloved Granny crossed over today.
There aren’t enough words to describe the person I grew up next door to, and always felt so loved by in her super cool unsentimental way.
She was 94 years old and I know how lucky I am to have had her in this world until I was 50 myself.
I don’t believe in much re: afterlife and all that jazz, but wherever she is, I hope she gets to see my auntie Bert again, and I hope there is no more pain or the confusion dementia thrust upon her. I hope she feels how I cherish her and the love of her 61 descendants.
Hope you have a new plant porch Granny! And a rider mower!!! I’ll miss you every damn day.
