It is with profound sadness that the family of Jeffery Joseph Gardiner, beloved husband of Charlene Gardiner announces his sudden passing on May 11, 2022, in Big River First Nation, SK. He was born on August 15, 1974. The Wake commenced on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 11:00. The Funeral Service for Jeffery was held at 11:00 AM. on Monday, May 16, 2022. Both services were held at Big River First Nation Band Hall, Big River First Nation, SK. Interment followed in the Whitefish Cemetery In The Pines, Big River First Nation, SK.

Jeff is lovingly remembered by his beautiful wife: Charlene Katherine Gardiner; his Grandmother: Catherine Gardiner; his Parents: Joseph Gardiner & Jean Gardiner; his Mothers-in-law: Katie Moccasin & Madeline Snakeskin; his Children: Christy (Jordan), Stephanie (Jeff), Whitney (Jesse), Johnathan (Jessamyne), Melissa, Tanessa, Danielle (Jordan), Jared, Jeffery Jr, Tyrus, Torrance, Elias; his Grandchildren: Kenyan, Tia, Jace, Mackinnan, Zanaya, Timothy, Azaria, Lazaro, Alivia; his Brother: Ronald (Jennifer) Gardiner; his Special cousin/brother: Kyle Gardiner; his sister: Candace Gardiner; Jeff has 21 brothers/sisters-in-law and their spouses; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, other grandchildren. Jeff was predeceased by his Paternal Grandfather: Harry Gardiner; his Maternal Grandparents: Victoria ‘Vicky’ & Tom Merasty; his favorite uncle: Joey Merasty; his Fathers-in-law: Frank McAdam, Francis McAdam & Archie Moccasin; Grandchildren: Zayne Gardiner and Miracle Thunderchild; and Kokum: Alice McAdam. The honorary pallbearers for Jeff's service were The Elders, Dion McAdam, All his coworkers, The Community of BRFN, and all his “Sister Wives”. Active pallbearers were, Morgan Awasis Christopher Tipewan Lance McAdam
