Born Aug 1, 1933 died May 21, 2022. Jeannette passed away quietly with family at her bedside at Mont St. Joseph Nursing Home. She is survived by her husband, Nick Wasyliw; her son, Elvin (Brenda) Smith, grandchildren, Jennifer Smith, Chad (Melissa) Smith; her daughter, Marlene (Ross) Nicolas, grandchildren, Scarlet (Chris) Dawson, Harley (Tamara) Nicolas; her daughter, Sheila (Robert) Boyer, grandchildren, Shawna Boyer and Shane (Deanna) Boyer; her grandson, Tyson Dumont (Colleen Adolph); her granddaughter, Kendle Dumont (Kurtis) Kolodinsky; Nick’s children, Garry & Shirley Wasyliw, Shelley & Darel Follensbee and Marina & Scott Burnham; her fifteen great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and 9 grandchildren with Nick.

Jeannette was predeceased by her parents Jules and Nora Azure; her daughter, Donna Dumont; her son-in-law, Guy Dumont; her sisters, Fernande Azure, Gertrude Vandale and Agnes Ethier; her brother, Alban Azure.

Jeannette loved cooking, gardening, travelling, casinos across Canada and the United States. She loved watching curling and the Blue Jays. Jeannette was happily married to Nick for nineteen years and together for thirty-one years. She enjoyed the farm life, helping with the cattle, grain seeding and harvest. She had a special place in her heart for all her family.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at St. Michael Parish, 1505 13th Street west, Prince Albert, SK. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.
