Lorette and I grew up as childhood friends being very close neighbors. Many hours were spent together playing ball or swimming at the river or going for bike rides. Lorette was a "little mother" to her brother Richard, and niece, Janine who were usually with her when she came to play. In the early years, Lorette loved to make unbaked cookies which she delighted to share with me. In the school days Lorette and I always made the ball team where Lorette always played first base!. We drifted apart for most of our teenage years, but reunited once we both got married to mechanics. We had our children less than a month apart. It was a very sad day indeed when she was diagnosed with MS. During out visits when she was able to communicate, she always inquired about the family. You suffered many years, Lorette, may you now find peace in God's arms. Our deepest sympathy goes out to you Neil, Jeneen and Nicole.
