My condolences in the passing of a truly good woman. I have known Jessie for many years and had the pleasure of joining her for lunch fairly often at the Bigway restaurant many years ago. I treasure those visits, she often spoke of her teaching years and often asked about one of my siblings that she taught. Her eyes were most expressive, I would know from the twinkle in her eyes when she thought of some heart warming incident or thought and also knew when there was something that she really didn’t approve of - she did not needs words to express her feelings. I always admired her!! The world is a lesser place without wonderful people like Jessie.
