Obituary of James Zelensky

The family of James Zelensky, late of rural Prince Albert, sadly announce his sudden passing on March 24, 2023. 

James’ passion and love of farming was keenly demonstrated by a wealth of knowledge and wisdom that went far beyond his years.   Being a jack of all trades served him well as he continually furthered the growth of an operation he was so proud of, his last harvest being his best one yet!  When not on the farm he could be found at local auctions, always searching for a deal. James was the proudest Papa out there, and his family came first before all else.  His beautiful blue eyes and welcoming smile always ensured you would have a good time while in his company. 

James is lovingly remembered by his wife, Beverly Zelensky; his daughter Chantelle Zelensky and daughter, Ivy; his son, Chad Zelensky and daughter Anjali and Cat Aschenbrener and her children, Georgia and Henry; his mother, Sophie Zelensky; his siblings, Brian (Janet) Zelensky, Gary (Penny) Zelensky, Perry Zelensky, Cheryl (Bruce) Hicks, Connie (Ron) Lypchuk and Karen Zelensky; as well as numerous other family and friends.  James was predeceased by his father, Peter Zelensky; his parents-in-law, Lena and Steven Ostrowski; his brother-in-law, Jerry Hutzal; and his best friend, Chris Dunn.
