Obituary of Arthur Edwin Ledoux
LEDOUX- Mr. Arthur Edwin Ledoux, age 73, late of Mistawasis First Nation, passed away in Shellbrook on Sunday, January 10, 2010. The Wake Service will be held at the Art Ledoux residence at Mistawasis First Nation on January 10 & 11, and at the Mistawasis Family Centre on January 12 & 13. The Funeral Mass will be held at the Mistawasis Family Centre on Wednesday, Janauary 13 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Fr. Anthony Pangan as Celebrant. The late Mr. Ledoux leaves to mourn, his seven sons and three daughters: Glenn (Gloria) of Alberta Beach, AB Carol (Mel) of Mistawasis Edwin (Yvonne) of Mistawasis Floris (Mitch) of Mistawasis Dennis (Kim) of Saskatoon Neil (Wendy) of Saskatoon Lori (Darcy) of Prince Albert Lyndon (Kari) of Mistawasis Reynold (Cindy) of Saskatoon Cory (Kim) of Whitefish A grand daughter, Stacey Ledoux who loved and cared for him A brother Phillip (Shirley) of Mistawasis Two sisters Mary Louise Primeau of Prince Albert Beatrice (Amos) Bruno of Hobbema, AB His adopted family William and Veronica Duquette of Mistawasis William Dreaver of Whitefish John Cook of Little Red Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends He was predeceased by: his dear wife Robina Elizabeth 'Ruby' (nee: Badger) Ledoux His parents Francis and Ada (nee: Wolfe) Ledoux His brothers: Henry (Mary) Ledoux Ralph Ledoux An adopted brother, Solomon Stone His in-laws, William and Mary (nee: Isbister) Badger Pallbearers: Burton Ledoux Armand Ouellette Ben Ahenakew Herbie Ledoux Stuart Greyeyes Clifford Ledoux Pallbearers cont'd Jeremy Duquette Hubert Badger Hon Pallbearers Lawrence Joseph Harvey Pechawis Elmer Ledoux Frank Pechawis Noel Daniels Donny Sanderson Irvin Wolfe Camille Duquette Pat Johnstone William Turner Interment Our Lady of the Poor Roman Catholic Cemetery Mistawasis First Nation Born: June 12, 1936 Mistawasis Dad You went to work each day at dawn Returned as the darkness fell We didn't know how tired you were, or asked if all was well Year end, year out you met our needs Without complaint or woe Today we thank you from our heart Please know we love you so.
