Obituary of Billy Henry Reimer

REIMER, Billy; It is with sadness we announce the passing of Billy Henry Reimer February 6, 2010 at the age of 57 years. Billy was born in Big River April 24, 1952. He lived on the West side of Lake Four his entire life. He schooled at Lake Four 1958 - 1965, Ladder Valley 1966 then Big River 1967. He started working at the Big River sawmill in 1969 and spent his whole life working in the forest industry. He married Carol Bergen in 1975, purchased a quarter of land from his parents and started raising cattle. He lived here till illness forced him into the hospital. Billy loved dropping in on family and friends for coffee and a visit. He enjoyed quading, camping, fishing and taking an afternoon drive to see the country. Billy loved looking after his cows and spending many hours in his shop fixing stuff. Billy leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife of 34 years Carol, his son Brent; his sister Ann Cross of Spruce Home, Sk. and her three children Yvonne (Lionel) Lindskog of Lloydminster, Ab.; Marvin Meyers of Meadow Lake, Sk.; Loretta Nelson of Meadow Lake, Sk.; his mother in law Susie Bergen of Shellbrook, Sk.; his brothers in law Dick (Della) Bergen of Big River, Sk., Ron (Lori) Bergen of Saskatoon, Sk. as well as many Aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Thelma Reimer, a sister Gertrude, a brother in law Raymond Cross, and his father in law Abe Bergen. Billy will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him. Interment will take place at a later date in the Lake Four Cemetery. Beau"Lac" Funeral Home have been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
