Cheryl Nemish was my oldest and dearest friend and it is so difficult to come to grips with her passing. We met many moons ago at Boston Pizza as co-workers and we have been friends ever since….we just clicked. Cheryl was forthright….if you wanted to hear the truth, she would tell you. She was tough but she was also generous, loving, kind and supportive….she and Gary are just good people.. the kind of people you want on your team!!!
Cheryl was ill for some time and she fought hard for as long as she could. She handled the end of her life with such dignity and graciousness and I am so grateful that I got to spend some time with her before she passed. I have a mix of emotions - I am grateful that her struggle is over and that she is no longer in pain but I am so infinitely sad that I will never see her face again….it just doesn’t seem fair, especially for Gary and her kids. Cheryl wouldn’t want any of us to be sad but if you knew Cheryl you just wouldn’t be able to help it knowing that she won’t be around….
