Charmaine Delesoy

Obituary of Charmaine Theresa Delesoy

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charmaine Delesoy, on August 17, 2023, in Prince Albert SK. Charmaine passed at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 68, with her husband, children, and grandchildren by her side.

Chamaine was born in Regina SK, on May 11, 1955. There, she met the love of her life and next door neighbor Harry. Charmaine and Harry married in 1974 and shortly after were blessed with two daughters, Eva and Nicole. Eventually, they settled in Prince Albert, SK, where they raised their girls.

Charmaine enjoyed family gatherings, especially during Rider games. The door was always open to those who wanted to visit. She always ensured her guests ate, drank, laughed, and felt comfortable. Just don’t get in her way during a Rider game, this was one of her passions!

She was warm, gracious, had an amazing sense of humor, and a smile that lit everyone’s hearts. She was loved by her family, friends, and extended family at Parkland Ambulance.

Charmaine is survived by her husband, Harry; daughters, Eva (Logan), children David, Drew, Madilyn, and Jack, and Nicole (Jordi), children Austin and Ashly; and her many siblings, nieces, nephews, as well as her spoiled dog, Cash.

Charmaine is predeceased by her parents, Wendell and Mary Vogt; and her sisters, Josie Szigli, and Carol Goldstone.

In true Charmaine fashion, she chose that her family and friends celebrate her life through her open door, instead of a formal service.

“You are the rose of my heart

You are the love of my life

A flower not fading not falling apart

If you are tired, rest your head on my arm

Rose of my heart.”
