Dwayne passed away on November 3, 2023, in Saskatoon, SK. He was born on September 8, 1965.
Wake Services will be held at 3:00 PM. on Sunday, November 5, 2023. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM. on Monday, November 6, 2023, with both services taking place at Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall. Interment will follow in the St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery, Ahtahkakoop First Nation, SK.
Dwayne is lovingly survived by his children, Dwayne Jr. Sasakamoose, Jennifer Sasakamoose, Brendan Sasakamoose, Charlie Sasakamoose, Jaden Sasakamoose, Jade Sasakamoose, & Ashley Dee; as well as numerous grandchildren; and a very special friend / Bro Blake Ahenakew; his siblings Keith Sasakamoose, Roland Sasakamoose (Brenda), Mitch Sasakamoose, Suzanne Halcro, Leanne Grimard (Joe), Penny Sasakamoose, and Shelley Johnstone (Blake); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Dwayne was predeceased by his son, Jasmine Sasakamoose; his parents Lorna & Steven Sasakamoose; his stepfather, Gerald Sanderson; his siblings, Darcy Sasakamoose, Darius Sasakamoose, Ronnie Sasakamoose, Kenny Sasakamoose, Carol Weinmeyer, Betty Sasakamoose, Kim Sasakamoose, and Trina Sasakamoose; his grandparents, Norman & Evelyn Johnstone and Sarah & Joseph Sasakamoose.
