Quentin Hryniuk

Obituary of Quentin Boedean Victor Hryniuk

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden death of Quentin “Den” Boedean Victor Hryniuk, on Wednesday, January, 10th, 2024.

Quentin was a loving father, husband, brother, son, and friend. He left a place in your heart with his kind and caring ways. All that knew him will never forget that infectious laugh. It was classic ‘Den’.  He enjoyed many activities with his ‘bros’, as well as cooking for family and friends. He was a great soup maker and skilled at creating feasts on the Traeger. He always had a ‘Q-Tip’ for his culinary techniques. Sledding wouldn’t be the same without ‘bluesteel’ moments. He appreciated everything he gained and earned in life, which showed in his passion for vehicles. Right from the Pinto, the ‘Den’ S10, to the ‘Braappp’ Jeep. Never again will we hear him “Braappp” the Jeep on River Street. It was Classic ‘Den’. Through his employment history he had a knack for welding, which started at Bourgault Industries in St. Breaux, and continued at Weldectech, working side by side with his brother. He enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams, the Canucks, because he was born in BC, and the Riders, because he bled green. He donned the number 77, it was his number, the year he was born.

Quentin had many life long friends that were like brothers and sisters, but his pride in and unconditional love for his children was deep in his heart and soul. His family, Jeannine, Corwin, Tyrone, Twyla, Curtis, and his Dad, Morris, will miss him dearly. His children, Shai, Kiera, Jessie, Emma, Jay, Zoey, and Kyden will miss him eternally. On January 10th, 2024, he went for a walk to be with his mom, Jeanne; hand in hand forever.
