Obituary of Betty D. Muirhead

 Betty Muirhead, late of Shellbrook, SK, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at the Parkland Integrated Health Centre in Shellbrook, SK at the age of 88 years.

There will be a Funeral Service held for Betty on Monday, February 19, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. from the Shellbrook Pentecostal Assembly with Pastor Dave Bodvarson officiating.   

Betty is lovingly survived by her children, Alana Ross and her children Robbie Ross, Jason (Brandy) Ross, Cody (Tana) Ross; Ward (Laurie) Muirhead and their children, Justin (Amanda) Muirhead, and Casey (Hally) Muirhead; her great-grandchildren, Stran, Sawyer, Gus, Flint, Hutch; her brother, Vic Mortensen; her brother Ejner's family in Denmark; her sister-in-law, Marjory (Larry) Brossart; her niece/coffee partner, Lorinda Helm; her special friends Sylvia Savage & Yvette Wasyliw; as well as several nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.

  Betty was predeceased by her husband Neil Muirhead in 2021; her parents, Elsie Johanna Maria and Frederick Mortensen; her mother and father-in-law, Bill and Kate Muirhead; her brother, Ejner Neilsen; her sisters, Rita (Edwin) Sommerfeld, Vivian, and an infant sister; her sister-in-law, Evelyn Mortensen; her brother-in-law, Alan (Margaret) Muirhead; her son-in-law, David Ross; and her niece Karen Morgan.

Memorial donations may be made in memory of Betty to the Shellbrook & Districts Health Services Foundation.
