Obituary of Joseph Peter Mlieczko
Joseph Peter Mlieczko was born March 14, 1933.
The family originally came from the Honeymoon District and later moved to Cecil District east of Prince Albert. He took up farming with his dad, but his first love was construction, which began with Boychuk Construction and later his own crew, doing much construction throughout the province.
Joe was an avid curler, bowler and Kaizer player. Unfortunately, Joe suffered a stroke in 2010 and spent eight years at Green Hill Care Home. He passed away on February 26, 2024, at Rose Garden Hospice. Our many thanks go to Dr. Dale Ardell for his kindness and support over the many years.
Joseph will be remembered by his wife, Evelyn; children, Diane Rawlyk, Warren (Bev) Mlieczko, Kyla (Darren) Dayton; grandchildren, Carson, Grayson, Lane; siblings, Louis Mlieczko and Vicki Sjoerdsma; his brother in law Gordon (Helen) Fossen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Peter, and Helen; sister and brother-in-law, Mary, and Stan Gomulczak; sister-in-law, Carolyn Mlieczko; brother-in-law, Stan Sjoerdsma; niece, Rosalie (Roy) Beauvais, their son Ryan Beauvais.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Crossroads Pentecostal Assembly, 1510 Olive Diefenbaker Dr, Prince Albert, SK.
