I met Bob through working with him at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. He was extremely personable and easy to talk to. He often had a unique view on a topic, which gave those around him a broader picture of whatever we were dealing with.
His passing is a loss to us all.

Dr. Bob was our vet, became a very good friend over the years, helping us do our best in the cattle business , organized the Prince Albert Beef Producers . Was a volunteer position on his part probably took a lot of time to organize.
Ours was the farm he spent the summer of 2012 on after retiring from CFIA, helping seeding through harvest, always a pleasure to be around .
We enjoyed a crew fishing trip to Dechambault , some wonderful memories perfect weather, can’t find the pictures though .
Thanks to Eugene we got to go for lunch with Dr Bob and Glen Sorensen ( was our lead hand when Dr. Bob was on our farm and him and Dr. Bob were pretty close) a couple times this winter. Were nice gatherings, Dr Bob seemed quite comfortable pain wise.
Our sincere condolences Jill and families was a dear friend we will miss him too. Rod Sandra Zelensky and family.

We (The Brock Family) were saddened to learn of Bob's passing. We grew up as neighbours and friends at Abernethy. I (Don) without invitation, adopted the Allen family so I could have a bunch of brothers and another sister! Bob was younger and of a kind and gentle nature. Always ready to help. For example, Bob provided his truck and manpower to move Marleen and I from Saskatoon to Swift Current so I could start my first teaching job. Fortunately, we were able to have a visit with Bob after he had retired. We send our heartfelt condolences to Bob's family. Sincerely, Don and Marleen Brock, Shirley Rickard, Hilarie Brock

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Bob. I am a younger cousin......Cam Lockerbie.
I remember in the late 1970's Bob would come visit my parents and us kids (cousins) at my parents' house in Saskatoon.
He would always bring a new LP to listen to while we visited.
We all noted that he was so personable, happy, and nice to everyone that you couldn't help but like him.
He had a certain internal calmness about him that was admirable.
He will be greatly missed!

To Bob’s Family
I am very sorry for your loss and my condolences to you All.
Bob was very well-read and knowledgeable and helped many people with that knowledge and gave guidance wherever he could. I was fortunate to have a good visit with Bob, his brother Doug and another friend not long ago. I dealt with Bob in his Profession as a Veterinarian for over 35 years, and I learnt something every time I spoke to him. He will be missed.
