Obituary of Pauline Lucile Marie Crosland
Pauline Crosland, late of Prince Albert, SK formerly of Spruce Home, SK, passed away April 12, 2024 at the age of 93. Pauline was born Oct 5, 1930, in Tisdale, SK. At six months of age the family moved to Timmins, ONT. The family moved from Timmins, ONT in 1943 to Prince Albert SK. Mom attended PACI to receive her grade 8, after her grade 8 graduation mom started work at Eagle Stationary. She continued to work at Eagle Stationary until she married Richard Crosland 1953. They lived in Prince Albert on 24th St. East and then moved out to the farm in 1960. Mom enjoyed staying home raising her four children. She loved gardening, milking cattle, raising chickens and the odd pig, for a city girl, she did good. Mom went back to work for Eagle Stationary for one year prior to Richard’s passing in 1972. Mom worked at Eagles until their closing. Mom‘s hobbies varied, she wanted to learn how to play the organ, so she took lessons. Mom loved to sing and she sang for Christopher Lake St Mary Church choir. Mom was an awesome seamstress and sewed all her clothes. She loved crafts and puzzles. Anything she did, she did well. She loved her children, grandchildren and her pets.
Pauline is survived by her loving children, Tim (Barb) Crosland and children, Chelsea (Scot) Carlson, and their children, Chase, Jeremy, and Ethan, Brett (Natasha) Crosland and their children, Wyatt and Wes; Janet McCloy (Brian) and children, Shane (Shalaine) and their children, Harlynn and Tommy, Bethany (Jordan) and children, Jolene and Theo; Brian (Marcy) Crosland and children, Kalyn (Chelsea) and children, Jace and Aubrey, Cory (Brandon) and children, Hadley and Robbie; and Rick Crosland. Pauline was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard; parents, Paul and Olivevine Antaya; her four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral Mass will commence at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Christopher Lake, SK. Interment will be held at a later date.
