My deepest condolences to the Ewanchyna family for your loss. I have fond memories of her cheering us on - be it at the rink, soccer field or baseball diamond. A wonderful life lived, she is now at peace.
You don’t know me but Rosalia was my grade 6 teacher at St Marks. My best friend was Sandra Ruznisky. Rosalia’s cousin. Sandra and I continued to be friends until her untimely death in September 2022
Rosilia was a stern teacher but treated everyone equally
Most of our classmates were in awe of this lovely young lady and we eagerly kept up to date with her wedding and the birth of her sons

Mrs. Ewanchyna was my Grade 4 teacher at Turgeon. She was my favorite teacher and I still talk about those memories today, many years later. She was a struck/stern teacher with a heart of gold! She guided me in my love of math/numbers. Always encouraging me. I remember the candy she used to give to students. I hope I’m remembering right! I loved her.
