The Logans and their store were the centre of the community. They did more to make our family feel a part of it than anybody else. I knew that if I went to pick up a few things at the store I’d leave with a smile on my face. I didn’t know that his sense of humour was matched by his inexhaustible energy for his family and community. He changed the pace of the town. (And his homemade sausage was amazing!).

"So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. What a beautiful obituary to honour his life! He will definitely be missed by a lot of people. I taught Daniel and Ryan many years back and have fond memories of your family. Over the years when I saw Jim he was always friendly and happy. What a wonderful man he was! I remember being a little girl living in Christophe Lake always walking to Logan’s Family Store for treats! My adopted mom Linda Klughart was a teacher at the school and we lived in the village. I remember his little deli the big wheel of cheese and I try sneak a peak into their home! Jim and Gail were always in the store guaranteed greeted with a smile and Lil chat.
