Linda Braun

Obituary of Linda Braun

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sweet wife, mother, and sister, Linda Braun, at Prince Albert Victoria Hospital on June 7, 2024, at the age of 76 years. Linda Darlene Mack was born September 25, 1947, in Langenburg, Saskatchewan, and married John Braun in Calgary, Alberta, in 1972. She will be lovingly remembered by husband John Braun; son Darren (Jeanie); her daughters, Shari, Christy (Rod) Musil, and Kelly (Jody) Gottfried; sister, Thelma Mack; and brother, Paul (Darlene Soucy). She will also be remembered by her 10 grandchildren, Chelsea, Daniel, Bryce and Ceira Musil; Keely, Bryton and Emily Braun; and Zack, Aubrey and Jayda Gottfried; and her 8 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her close family, many wonderful friends, and beloved dog Shadow. Linda was predeceased by her sister, Joyce Court; parents, Walter and Eleanora Mack; and infant sister, Joan.

Linda and John moved to Prince Albert in 1986 where Linda worked as a legal secretary for 20 years at Sanderson Balicki Popescul. After retiring in 2006, John and Linda volunteered with Mennonite Disaster Service for 10 years in the southern states. She loved her 1962 Thunderbird, playing her piano, singing gospel songs, dancing, and pretty flowers. Thank you to all the nurses and doctors at Victoria Hospital that looked after her in her final days.

Memorial Service will be held at Nordale Community Hall, 1306 6 Ave NW, Prince Albert, SK, at 11:00 am on Saturday June 29, 2024. Coffee and fellowship to follow.
