Dear Cheryl,
Gerald just came by to let me know that Dave passed away. My sincerest condolences to you and your family. You and Dave were such lovely neighbours. Well can't forget Teddy. He was great too. I will never forget how friendly Dave was from the day we met. You both were the kindest and most caring people. I've missed you this past year and thought of you often. My heart goes out to you now Cheryl. It will be hard to get used to life without Dave. He had a personality that was bigger than life. He will live on in your heart.
