Andrew Taszlikowicz

Obituary of Andrew Joseph Taszlikowicz

April 29, 1952- August 23, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Andy Taszlikowicz. Andy was a kind and generous man who loved spending his time with his loved ones. He will be remembered as a funny but sweet guy, always sharing a good laugh with those around him.

Andy’s best memories were of spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he was so very proud of. He also enjoyed visiting with his friends, enjoying a drink, and telling stories. Andy was an avid Prince Albert Raiders, Saskatchewan Roughriders, and Edmonton Oilers fan. He spent his evenings listening to their games on the radio. Andy was a loyal employee of Weyerhaeuser for 33 years and was proud to become a ticketed saw filer and crane operator, fulfilling a variety of roles for the mill until its closure. Always the life of the party, Andy loved listening to country music. He was also a well accomplished wrestler and was very proud to be a National Champion. Andy travelled the world in his younger days for wrestling and was very well known in the wrestling community. He was inducted into the Prince Albert Hall of Fame for both his wrestling and football accomplishments. Andy will be dearly missed and his memory will be cherished by those who loved him.

A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Andy’s life.
