Obituary of Ruby Ethel Ballendine

The family of Ruby Ethel Ballendine announce her peaceful passing on September 11, 2024, at the age of 95 years.  Ruby will be lovingly remembered by her children, Shirley (Arnold), George, William (Debbie), John, Linda, Connie and Beverly (Dave); her grandchildren, Lisa Dawn, Gina, Tara, James, Don, William, Danielle, Jonathan, Matthew, Kari and Erin; her 16 great-grandchildren and other relatives. 

Ruby was predeceased by her parents, Edith N (nee Poole) and James Avery McNeilty; her husband, Hubert Vernon Ballendine; all of her siblings, James (Ina), Violet (Arnold) Moffat, Grace (Hector) Grimard, Donald, Walter and Clarence (Florence) McNeilty;   and numerous other relatives. 

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 16, 2024, at St. George’s Anglican Church, 1104 4 Street East, Prince Albert, SK.  Please join the family for lunch following the service.  Interment will be held at St. Philips Anglican Cemetery, Coxby, SK.   In lieu of other tributes, donations in memory of Ruby may be made to Diabetes Canada, 1300-522 University Ave.
