Obituary of Charlene Kolot

Charlene Marie Kolot (nee Hill), late of Prince Albert, SK, passed away at the Victoria Hospital on September 25, 2024.  Charlene was born in Saskatoon on November 18, 1939, the only child of Inez and Conrad Hill.  In 1956, she married Keith Faulder and together they had three daughters, Laurie, Nancy and Brenda.  In July of 1988, Mom found and married the true love of her life, John Kolot, and  they shared a full life while Charlene continued her long career in banking and financial planning.  Together they enjoyed golfing, gardening, cooking, gathering with friends, travel and spending time with their family.  Many winters were spent in Arizona with friends old and new following retirement. 

Charlene will be lovingly remembered by her husband, John; her children, Laurie (Bryan), Nancy and Brenda (Brad); her stepson, Jason (Sveta); her stepdaughter, Jennifer; her grandchildren, Doug, Sarah (Devan), Kris (Marcie), Cal (Bronwyn), Jessica and Megan (Bryan); her great-grandchildren, Mack, Bowie, Ben, Ella, Tom, Jayla, Emerson, Jase and Brooke; as well as numerous cherished friends. 

In keeping with Charlene’s wishes no funeral service will be held.  In lieu of other tributes, we respectfully and graciously request donations in memory of Charlene be made to a charity or cause of your choice.
