Obituary of Howard Phillip Demerais
With broken and heavy hearts, the family of Howard Demerais announce his sudden passing on Sept 28, 2024, in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 83.
Howard enjoyed his life. He served in the army for 4 years and was stationed in Germany. He then worked for 34 years as a Crain operator at Weyerhaeuser until his retirement. He enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, country music and visits with friends and family. He always had a smile on his face. We sure are going to miss you.
Howard is survived by his daughter Diane Bushey (Ken Fiddler); grandsons Todd Jr and Troy Bushey; great-granddaughter Skyler Bushey; his loving stepchildren Richard (Naomi) Nigttravller, Alvin (Arlene) Nigttravller, Violet Nigttravller, Jim Nigttravller (Leila) and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters Lorna Gunn, Barbra Flurry; brothers Louie, Albert and Don (Val) Demerais and many nieces and nephews.
Howard is predeceased by his parents Albert and Irene (Bear) Demerais; his loving wife Matilda Demerais; and his brothers Herb, Art, Charles “Chuck” Demerais; stepson Calvin Nigttravller.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Oct 4, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Marks Parish, 581 9th St E, Prince Albert, SK. Interment at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens, Hwy 2 South.
