Douglas Grigor

1931-2024

Douglas passed away September 30, 2024, at the age of 93 in North Battleford, Saskatchewan.

Douglas was born April 29, 1931, in Nokomis Saskatchewan to Fred and Mabel Grigor.

On July 17, 1965, Douglas married the love of his life Alice Miller, and had three sons, Brian, Stuart (Misty) and Guy.

For 15 years they lived in Mullingar where Doug owned and ran “Grigor’s Garage”, where he was very busy doing mechanics and hauling fuel, for the Shell Company.

In 1981 the family moved to Mayfair where Douglas hauled fuel for the Co-op. When the Co-op closed Douglas began to haul fuel for Petro Canada in Rabbit Lake.

In his spare time Douglas enjoyed many hobbies, including fishing, hunting, and above all flying his airplane CFUGY

A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday October 26, 2024, 2:00pm at the Mayfair Community Hall, Mayfair, SK with Delores Beaulac officiating.
