Dear Lianne and Family,
I am thinking of all of you at this incredibly difficult time as you say so long for now, to Bruce. I had the pleasure of meeting him several times when I was with my Big Brother, Jim Bristowe and it was evident that they shared a special bond. Their support and love of the Raiders Hockey Organization was incredible. Bruce was there for Jim when his health was not good and we were so grateful that he was there for Jim on some of his most difficult days. What a blessing and good friend he was. His kindness will always be remembered. I wish I got to be around Bruce more often as he was a Prince of a Man. I hope all of your special memories of your wonderful partner and Dad will help you as you journey through this world with him watching over all of you. He will forever be on your Cheer Team! Sincerely Sue Boryski (Bristowe)

My deepest condolences to Liane, Jonny, Briane and Jess. Bruce was well known for his love of sport, great humour and appreciation of a good time, but I can still remember just how much he lit up in the office when talking about his family. Bruce gave me a shot to come to PA and join the Raiders staff and I am forever grateful for that, and the many times he was able to make light by cracking a joke in a potentially negative situation to help remind us not to take it all too seriously. I hope for you to remember all the good times and carry them forward with you.
All the best,
Evan Poitras

Liane and family,
I am extremely sad to hear of Bruce's passing, he truly was an exceptional man and one I always enjoyed working with and alongside during his time with the University of Lethbridge and the Hurricanes. Always positive, always enthusiastic, he had time for everyone and absolutely loved sports and the people he was working with. So easy to have a conversation with, he was a pro through and through and made my job easier and a lot more fun. Know that he made an impact everywhere he worked and will be greatly missed.

Liane, Jon, Briane, Jess and family,
My heart goes out to you at the loss of Bruce. My first memory of him was saying "Nice to meet you Mr. Vance!" And he said "Yuck! Call me Bruce!"
Some of the best memories of my teen years include your family and I am so grateful for that.
He had a heart of gold and I was glad to reconnect with him through Special Olympics at a few of the breakfasts in PA. His impact in the city of Prince Albert and the province of Saskatchewan will be felt for a very long time.
His legacy includes the love he had for all of you which I'm sure, to him, was the greatest legacy of all.
Rest well, Bruce. Meow!

So sorry to hear of your loss Liane. I have great memories of working with Bruce at CHAT in Medicine Hat. Loved his passion for sports, other than hearing him yell “Arrr-gos” lol. Not at all surprised to see the impact he had on the those around him. Thoughts and prayers with you and the family during this challenging time. PJ

Lianne and Family, my most heartfelt condolences on the passing of Bruce. You have said goodbye to an amazing husband and father. Bruce's life was well lived in so many ways. I am honoured to have been part of just a few of the many projects, organizations, events, fundraisers and community events Bruce has played a huge part of leading. His infectious smile and heart warming enthusiasm will be missed. Thank you for Bruce for sharing some of your time on this earth with us all! Sending warm hugs!
