Obituary of Christine Annie Summers

Summers; it is with sadness we announce the sudden passing of Christine Summers at the age of 54 years. Christine leaves to cherish her memory: Her partner Bruce Bigley of North Battleford, SK., Her loving children: Josh Summers (Jenn Bustin) of Spiritwood, SK., Kyle Summers of Acton, ON, Her brother Leo Girouard of Rabbit Lake, SK. Her sister Irene Girouard (Les Turner) of Battleford, SK., and her children Conrad Girouard, Larry Girouard And Corey (Mackie) Delorme, Her sister Linda (Stan) Dahl of Glen Harbour, SK And her daughters Leanne and Kelli, Her sister Audrey (Neil) East of Meadow Lake, SK and their children Trenton (Karen) Richinski, Kurt (Amy) East, Kent (Kaeli) East, Her brother Bobby (Christine) Francis of Melfort, SK., and their children Orlean (Derek) Langen, Tyrone (Quinn) Francis and Tiffany (Dana) Warner, Her brother Darcy (Tammy) Francis of Weyburn, SK., and their daughters Shannon Francis (Tanner Atwood), Melissa Francis (Austin Eckel), Her mother & step father: Annie & Edward Francis of Spiritwood, SK Christine was a daughter, mother, sister and friend. Chrissy, as she was known to most, was born Sept. 26, 1956 in Leoville. She graduated from high school in 1975. She moved to Moose Jaw and worked there for numerous years, until she moved to Fort MacMurray and was there for numerous years. She met Glen Summers, got married, and had her first child Joshua. They later moved to Ontario where their second son Kyle was born. Chrissy worked at many different jobs, and of all, waitressing was the best. She moved back to Sask. in Jan. 2006, coming back to her roots. Some of her enjoyments in life were cooking, writing poems, reading and her special angels. In the last few years she went down many roads, some of them good, and some not so good. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her, and cherish those special memories we all hold close to our hearts. Now her special Angel will look after her wherever she may be. A celebration of her life was held October 28, 2010 from St. Paul's Anglican Church in Timerland, Sk. with Delores Beaulac officiating. Memorial donations in memory of Christine may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church or of Donor's Choice. Beau"Lac" Funeral Home of Spiritwood were entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
