It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Virginia Lachance of Big River First Nation on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the age of 76 years. The wake service for Maria will commence at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2011 from the Big River First Nation Band Hall, and the funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Big River First Nation.
