Obituary of Dwight Graham Telford

It with great sadness we announce the passing of Dwight at the age of 68. Dwight passed away peacefully at the Big River Health Center Palliative Care Unit on July 27, 2011. Dwight is survived by his loving partner of 34 years, Rita Busch. His children: Kathryn (Darwin) Dymarais, Lisa Telford (sons Max & Erik), Roberta (son Lucas). Also left to cherish his memory are: his brother Terence (Sylvia) Telford, mother-in-law Patricia Busch, Rita's siblings- Garth(Louise), Natalie (Neal), Todd (Deb), and nieces and nephews. Dwight was predeceased by his parents Cassie and Boyd Telford, father-in-law Arthur Busch, brother-in-law Jerry Busch. Dwight grew up and attended school in Quill Lake, SK. He lived an interesting life. His employment began in Regina as a Barber, and included Barber Instruction, Flooring-Installer, Roofer, and Greyhound Bus-Driver. Business ventures included a Driving School in Regina, a Flooring Store in Wadena, Motels in Sundre, AB and Vancouver, BC, a Glass Shop in Crowsnest Past, and for the last eight years, Dwight and Rita have managed the Harbour Inn in LaRonge and have made their home in LaRonge and Big River. Dwight was skilled at hand-carving and musically, and enjoyed collecting rare vehicles, boating, and lake-life. A Celebration of Life to be held at the Big River Community Center, Saturday July 30th at 1:30pm. Memorial Donations may be made to the Big River Health Center Palliative Care or to Ed Krienke Golf Classic 2011. Arrangements entrusted to Delores Beaulac of Beau"Lac" Funeral Home Ltd.
