Obituary of Andre Clement Pouliot

It is with great sorrow that the family of the late Mr. Andre Pouliot announce his passing on December 31st, 2011 at the age of 80 years. The Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012 at 7:30 pm from the St. Therese Roman Catholic Church in Leoville, SK. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 4th, 2012 at 11:00 am from the St. Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church in Debden, SK. Andre was born in Mattes, Saskatchewan. In 1952 he met Lorraine St. Pierre and they married in October of 1953. Andre was a kind, caring and gentle man. He was always willing to help out. His faith and family were important to him. After marrying Lorraine, they settled on the Pouliot homestead in Debden, where they made their home. Within a year of being in their own home, Lorraine's mom passed away and they took in the six youngest of her siblings, creating an instant family. A few years later, Julie and Alain joined the family. Andre always had a nice warm smile for everyone he met. He was fun loving, and loved to tease. He enjoyed playing cards, bowling, curling and dancing, but mostly just time spent with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
