It is with great sadness that the family of Leona Starblanket announce her unexpected passing on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at her residence on Ahtahkakoop First Nation at the age of 40 years. the Wake services commenced on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 in the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service was held on Friday, April 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall. The Interment was in St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery.
